On Prophecy news Battle lines tonight we see a dark foreboding time upon us. Prophecy speaks of this time as Jacobs’s trouble and is called the Great tribulation. Prophecy speaks and warns, so do we. Yet, we are not there yet, but the coming time of trouble is getting close. Prophecy News looks at the government controls, the destruction of the constitution, endless wars, economic turmoil, and the coming Middle East war as major high points in that end time Prophecy.

Prophecy speaks and warns, but also Thomas Jefferson warned us of the “unauthoritative use or exercise of power by our Government” and then asked “how many rebellions should we have had already”? That is, if the people had not stood by idly by and done nothing.

“On every unauthoritative exercise of power by the legislature must the people rise in rebellion or their silence be construed into a surrender of that power to them? If so, how many rebellions should we have had already?” –Thomas Jefferson, Notes on Virginia, Query 12, 1782

So too Israel faced a dark time and will again, but so will the church. Here we ask “When Prophecy Fails” what will the sheep do? The Prophecy is a warning, they will be scattered! Take heed Prophecy and seek the Lord.

When Prophecy Fails!
The Darkest time in the history of Israel had been when there was no open vision, at such a time, the people perish. They are literally let loose, are left to run wild.
This is when prophecy fails, when the ‘revelation of Gods will to the prophets cease’. I.E. Where there is no shepherd the sheep scatter and perish.

1Sa 3:1 Now the child Samuel ministered to the Lord before Heli, and the word of the Lord was precious in those days, there was no manifest vision.
Pro_29:18 When prophecy shall fail, the people shall be scattered abroad: but he that keepeth the law, is blessed.
Rev_1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Prophecy News Came to Send a Sword

Regarding Prophecy and our generation today let us consider what Jesus said in reference to “he did not come to send peace but a sword”. The truth of the gospel and Prophecy is that Jesus does bring a sword and many times finds itself at odds with governments and people. In Prophecy and the Gospel it is true those who come to know the Lord, “peace” is found. Prophecy however reveals that this gospel is one that divides the heart, soul, body, mind, and people. The Prophecy and the Gospel with the Word of God striking hard at the hearts of men do make enemies. Prophecy and the words of Jesus will either save you or make you an enemy. Very few sit in-between.

The Truth of this in-between is stark and relevant for Prophecy in that scriptures speak of the Laodacian church. Even here when truth is given, the choice is stark. It is a dividing and is spoken in Prophecy found in Revelation. When the church lacks the anointing and fire of the Holy Ghost, the people do end up in-between. They become lukewarm as the Lord points out in Revelation regarding the Laodacian Prophecy. In addition the sword and Prophecy comes true as well for those who follow their Lord find themselves with enemies of their own household.

Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Mat 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Mat 10:36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Prophetic Time of the Night

Prophetic end of the world as we know it has arrived. It is that Prophetic time period known as the Time of the Night. It is an End time Prophetic event which will be fulfilling scripture as upheaval and turmoil move through the earth. Thus Prophetic as the nation’s go through this Time of the Night.

Thus Prophetic and Prophecy come together in a night filled with surprises, prophecies fulfilled, and godlessness and yet grace salvation and coming judgment. For man this Time of the Night is a one-time event which is a Prophetic time period that the Prophets told us about. It is a Prophetic time period that the Apostles talked about.
Jesus referred to man walking in the night, and for that man, it was night because there was no light in him. These are Prophetic words given by Jesus to us.
Joh_11:10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

The Prophetic portion we speak of comes from Isaiah and speaks to Edom and her trial of darkness and tribulation. Prophetic words found in Obadiah and with the prophecy here given asking the Watchman, What of the night?

Prophetic asks:“What part of the night are we at now?” Just as a sick man longs for a sleepless night to come to an end, and is constantly asking what time it is, so do they inquire of the prophet out of Edom, whether the night of tribulation will not be soon over.
Isa_21:11 The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?

Thus Prophetic the answer: “When the morning comes, it will still be night.”
Isa_21:12 The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

Christians find themselves in a world where criminal governments keep a Child database of kids they deem a threat as in the UK. Yet in all this, the Christian is an overcomer through faith in Jesus Christ. While the world opposes who we are and what we stand for, they have already lost and don’t know it. We are the winners, the Christian who keeps their faith in the midst of this will literally see that the “Gates of hell shall not prevail.” The Christian has peace, love, joy, and much more in Christ Jesus. Thank the Lord for this Prophesied mercy and grace that God spoke and thus gave to all who would believe and receive.

1Pe 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1Pe 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Prophesied Grace also is what we are discussing and studying in the “roots of our faith.” This is our theme this week and thus Prophesied Grace to come is important. Prophesied Grace in America and the churches is also believed upon. That is, many people in America believe in this Prophesied Grace but it actually becomes a denominational title. It also becomes the doctrines of men. Churches have taken this Prophesied Grace and molded it to fit their denomination’s doctrines and beliefs.

Prophesied Grace though brings out the question of what are the real roots of your Christian faith. Prophesied Grace and the roots of faith are not found in man-made institutions. The real truth can be found in the writings of the Tanakh. The truth found in the Prophesied words of Jewish Prophets. It is found in the Jewish early church. It is found in the Jewish Apostles. We have in America thoroughly cauterized the Jewish heritage of our Christian faith and in fact for decades it was a dirty word! But yet Prophesied Grace and its Roots of Faith for us today screams loudly as the Lord God moves in the nations and also in the hearts of people everywhere searching for real truth.
