Sukkot called Tabernacles

Sukkot called Tabernacles

It is Sukkot the kingdom of kingdoms, Sukkot, the place where the Most High shall dwell. If you think Sukkot just represents Israel dwelling in booths, then listen to the programs this week on Warn Radio. It is Sukkot or Tabernacles, called that booth, ultimate ‘sukkah’, where the Lord God shall dwell. He shall dwell among his people and be their God and they shall be his people.
Moreover, Sukkot is the time of eternal glory with the Lord. Thus the fall feasts end on a high note where the Sukkot is that dwelling place of the Lord God on Earth among his people. Yet, the ‘sukkah’ is of two types. The earthly type, built that traditionally represents the feast, made of trees, limbs, etc. The other is the eternal type, built by God, coming down out of heaven, the Sukkot, the glory of the Lord amidst the people whom he calls his own. Thus this is the other, but wait, there is still another.

Sukkot in Zion:
Psa 132:13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
Psa 132:14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
Psa 132:15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
Psa 132:16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
Psa 132:17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
Psa 132:18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

Sukkot, the earthly representation and looking towards fulfillment finds yet another dwelling. Sukkot; this dwelling will be that of God within his people, “I shall dwell in them”. Today you and I as believers and disciples of this and his Son, Yeshua [Jesus] have a permanent year around ‘sukkah’ where the Lord through his Spirit dwells in us. It is that place where we can see Sukkot fulfilled literally minute by minute, second by second until eternity arrives, then no more time. The true fulfillment of Sukkot will be then.

2Co_6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Day of the Lord and Yom Kippur

Day of the Lord and Yom Kippur

In our American way, and also the westernized Christian world, there are many things we believe in. But in this God and Father, our Lord; we must believe, trust in, and rely upon his Son Yeshua [Jesus Christ] for salvation.” He that has the son has everlasting life and the Father; he that does not have the Son does not! Now the world hates this. They don’t like “one only-isms”. But the truth here again is, there is only one way, one truth, and one life [John 14:6].

This Yom Kippur we look at the Day of the Lord and how it applies to the Day of Atonement. In a special day the Lord has set aside, we find that Yeshua, the Son of God, [Jesus Christ] died on the cross for our sins. He was and is the High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek and at the same time he is the Passover Lamb who has taken away the sins of the world. He is the Atoning sacrifice, the sealing forever of the covenant, by his blood upon the tree. While the world ignores these facts, the Lord is coming to judge the world in righteousness, through Jesus Christ. Yom Kippur is that commanded feast and we observe it. We have fulfillment of Yom Kippur in Yeshua, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Yom Kippur we will be looking at the scriptures pertaining to the Day of the Lord, what it means, and how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ made a way for our atonement

Oba_1:15 For the day of the Lord is at hand upon all nations: as thou hast done, so shall it be done to thee: he will turn thy reward upon thy own head.

Atonement Feast of Yom Kippur

Atonement Feast of Yom Kippur

We will be looking at the Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur. Atonement day or Yom Kippur is a day for a holy convocation [meeting], afflict your souls [fasting], make an offering [fulfilled by our Lord who made permanent atonement for us.

It is our Lord, Yeshua; who died for our sins, making Atonement for us. He was 'high priest’ who offered the sacrifice for Atonement. That Atonement sacrifice was Yeshua [Jesus] who became a curse upon the tree. The Son of God [Ps2], the Son of David [Mt 1:1], is the fulfillment of Yom Kippur. Because of his Atonement for us, our Yom Kippur is paid in full. Through faith in his name, Yeshua [Jesus], we have eternal life and have been written in the book. It is that Atonement which has made us to become the “sons of God” [John1]. It is that Atonement which will bring us to the streets of Zion, the New Jerusalem when the Word of God ascends and sets up the Kingdom of David, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling with a rod of Iron. It is that Atonement that God commands all men everywhere to repent so that the God of Grace and Mercy can provide a means for saving their souls.

Atonement, at One ment with God the Father, through Jesus [Yeshua] Christ [Ha Massiach], that is Yom Kippur. That Atonement is what Israel will understand, see, and be no longer blinded as spoken of by the Apostle Paul [Rom 11] and also referred to by our Lord. Atonement, redemption, and sanctification through our Lord and brought to our God and Father, this is the real fulfillment of Yom Kippur. Nevertheless, we keep Yom Kippur, the Atonement feast according to the commandments of the Lord

Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Lev 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
Rom_5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the Atonement.

Rosh Hashannah means “first of the year” and begins at sundown the day before the start of Tishri 1.
The Hebrew word Rosh means “head” or “Beginning” Ha means “the” and Shannah means “year”. It’s only used once in the Tenach “Old Testament” Ezekiel 40:1 says, “in the beginning of the year” in the Hebrew it says Rosh Ha Shannah. The more common Biblical name is “Feast of Trumpets.” Lev.23:23-25 [Jerry Golden site]
Rosh Ha Shannah is the beginning of the ten days called High Holy Days or “Days of Awe” They are also called the Days of Repentance, Days of Admitting, Days of Returning. These ten days end with the Day of Atonement, “Yom Kippur”

Rosh Hashannah is a Two day celebration, one long day: they did not have internet like we do, cell phone, so they could send out the word. They had people posted to see the sliver of the new moon, they would sound the sofar and send the runners out to the villages. To make sure all people hear the word and celebration regarding Rosh Hashannah

During Rosh Hashannah will be coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The whole festival is centered around people to repent, get right with the Father.
Rosh Hashannah centers around getting those people who have procrastinated in these things to get them right with the Father through Yeshua.
