Prophecy Betrayed not forsaken Battle Lines
In Prophecy Our Savior fulfilled scripture and was the One sent from the Father, the only begotten Son of God. Yet as the chief corner stone, Prophecy fulfilled he became the stone which the builders rejected. In Prophecy fulfilling the Word of God is paramount. So too we find in fulfillment of Prophecy that our Lord went to his own and his own received him not. He was fulfilling Prophecy, the Son of God and yet He was betrayed by a friend, and all those who followed him scattered. Prophecy is exciting to many today but living out Prophecy can be a task. For in this Prophecy our Lord was in the house of his friends and was as a Lamb brought before her shearers. In this Prophecy He went to the cross, died, was buried, and rose again. Prophecy fulfilled meant his death, suffering, and then on to glory. He was the Passover lamb and his own did not know him. In all this, his Father was there.

We forget this today about Prophecy. Many times it indeed tells us, revealing things about the future in Prophecy that will come to pass. But the Prophecy revealed also shows the suffering to come and the glory to follow. Prophecy shows us that the servant is not above his master. As Prophecy fulfilled in our Saviors life, so too in ours if we follow him

No doubt we look ahead and see the snare upon the nations. This is Prophecy and found in the words of our Savior. These words are accompanied in Prophecy by major portions of Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Along with these are myriads of Prophecy concerning the last days. All of which reveal a time of trouble the world has never seen before. While Prophecy is exciting, be careful, for it is also to the point. Prophecy does not take back the razor edge of what God has called aforetime. In this also come discipleship, suffering, and glory. This is the full package of Prophecy.
