The Lord in his Presence
Today on the Watchman Torah we find the Lord in the presence of his people. The types here and how they look forward to the end of days are truly biblical. When we begin with the Lord speaking to Moses about the lamps and the candlestick. If we move to Revelation we find the Lord standing in the midst of the candlesticks. Yeshua is seen here as the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, the one with the keys of death and hell
Lord and The Candle stick and the lamps
Num 8:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 8:2 Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick. Num 8:3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses. Num 8:4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick
We also find instructions for preparing the Levites to minister to the Lord. There are rules, sacrifices, and procedures they had to follow. All this includes the laying of the hands by people on the Levites. It is important for us to realize the holiness of the Lord here. It is important to see the sanctification process whereby the Levites can minister to the Lord on behalf of the people and the Levites minister to the people in the name of the Lord. In this process we also remember as believers, born again by the Spirit of the Lord. We as believers must understand and fully appreciate the holiness of the Lord, the work of the cross, and the sanctifying nature of the atonement. In all this we must know the holiness and the fact that we will all stand before him one day.
In these segments of torah we find the Lord instructing Moses to tell the people on trumpets. A fact that in the New Testament we see the trumpet in the call for the Lord to gather his people. It is also seen in the announcements and judgments in Revelation. We find the trumpets an important part of Gods people at that time and even today. Even though, you and I may not have fully appreciated the Lords direction in trumpets. For do we not keep the feast of trumpets [tabernacles]?

Num 8:9 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together: Num 8:10 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites: Num 8:11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD. Lord midst of the Candlesticks
Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; Rev 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
