“Therefore the inhabitants of earth are burned and few men left. The merry hearted sigh, the joy of the harp ceaseth, strong drink is bitter to them that drink it. Behold the city of confusion is broken down, inhabitants of earth have shut up their homes , no man may come in. Crying is in the streets, joy is gone, mirth departed and the inhabitants of earth are affected. Behold, the day has come. These are those who made not the LORD God their strength!”

In America we have a hard time seeing ourselves as mere inhabitants of earth. We see ourselves as special, not subject to the troubles of other nations. For those other nations, they are the mere inhabitants of the earth. Over the many years of this nation, indeed we have been blessed. So much so the others who are the inhabitants of the earth saw this blessing of the nation of America and thus many of them wanted to come to this nation. So it is, that over the years, the inhabitants of the earth have seen America as a cut above. Yet for all this, the nation called America has risen and now is headed into the end times. Judgment will hit this nation as with others. The melting pot of America and the world will be stirred into the same end time events. Thus all of the inhabitants of the earth will be affected and these will see that the curse has devoured the earth.

Scripture:
Isaiah 24:6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. Isaiah 24:7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh. Isaiah 24:8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth. Isaiah 24:9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it. Isaiah 24:10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in Isaiah 24:11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
