Oh, thou who fills my soul with goodness, hear me.
Oh my strength, my L-rd, my G-d and the richness of my inner being,
You who feeds me in the wilderness as you did Elijah,
When my soul is hungry for thy Eternal food, as in the time of dry land.
You, Oh G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, my Father I hear thee,
You, Oh Father who sent thy only begotten son, Yeshua,
Yea, to seal the ‘blood of the covenant’ for my redemption,
For it is you, my G-d, yea, in the ‘whispers of the night’ that feedeth me.

For lo, the world shakes, the nations are in turmoil, but I am in peace.
When the winds divide the Prairie grasses,
When the snows cover the mountains,
Yea, when all is said an done before thee:
Thou art he, my G-d, who in the ‘whispers of the night’ sealeth thy love for me.
I hear thee oh L-rd , as a Son hears his Fathers call.
I listen, as the night owl hushes for a moment, for he too hears it!
The winds still themselves as the stars shine upon the new fallen snow.
Surely now, their crystals sparkling like diamonds in the moonlight.
A glorious symphony to behold, yet all are asleep this night.

Yea, all is silent, my breath quiets, I hold it,
Wait, Yes my Father I can hear thee.
In the early morning watch as the earth splits into night and day,
I do shutter a bit,
Thy Spirit races within me as I release my breath,
Then for just a second, as if in Eternity, I know thy voice,
I know thy presence, I hear thy words:
“Son, I have loved thee with an everlasting love.”
In ‘whispers of the night’ thou strengtheneth me,
By thy Eternal words oh G-d and my Father,
You who redeemed my by thy Pass Over Lamb!
Then again as silence hears the heaving of my breast,
I again hold my breath, then listen, a call, a word,
In the “whispers of the night” I know thou lovest me,
For thy words have been found:
“I will not forsake thee” cometh the words from he who is True.
Then a pause as the moments pass, the darkness silences,
“For I AM the L-rd, the G-d of all,
The Father of all Spirits, I know my own!
They are kept by me, none can remove them from my hand.”
In the ‘whispers of the night’, though all around me fail,
Though all is removed and chaos is on all sides,
Yea, I know through it all that in thee I am,
Surely I am loved and will never be forsaken.

In the ‘whispers of the night’, the owl cries again,
As if saying this moment has ended!
That time, in the early hours of night when the voice spoke,
Yea, the voice of Eternity spoke to me,
The Ruler of all and G-d of all,
Yea, he who speaks from Eternity in the ‘whispers of the night’
Surely he spoke, in the ‘whispers of the night’,
To me!
I drift off to sleep in the ‘whispers of the night’,
With peace flooding my soul,
With a love for this G-d and his Son who ruleth all things,
With a gift to me and all who will receive it,
A gift of love, peace, and hope,
Coming to you in the ‘whispers of the night,’
From this G-d and his Son, surely!
