“The One True G-d, the Blood of the Covenant, and the Son of David”
Today we read out of exodus and in Isaiah where we find the tabernacle and how it was to be built. Three times in today’s reading it speaks of building the tabernacle according to those things that Moses was shown in the mount. The Tabernacle they were to build from scratch would foreshadow the temple that under Solomon would eventually be built, then later destroyed by the Babylonians. This coming because of the sin of the people and their disregard for G-ds word.

In Isaiah we find the one upon whom he will look. Those who are of a poor and contrite spirit and who trembles at his word. We find the prophetic future references to the time when the L-rd battles evil on this earth, establishes Zion and Jerusalem. A time when his glory will shine upon all the nations and when those who remain will look upon the carcasses of those who transgressed against him. In this we find the true Holy recompense of the L-rd of Hosts and his coming kingdom. The coming Son of G-d, the Son of David, will rule as L-rd of L-rds and King of Kings upon the throne. Thus we find the Tabernacle foreshadows temple, which foreshadows the temple of our body. All looks to the time of the Temple or tabernacle of G-d is with men and his glory pours out of the temple of the sons of G-d.

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,
5 And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,
6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

The Priestly office and Pure Oil Olive beaten
Exodus 27:20 ¶And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
21 In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the L-RD: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

Covenant: The blood of the Covenant
Exodus 24:6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the L-RD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the L-RD hath made with you concerning all these words.

The Man upon Whom the L-rd looks
Isaiah 66:1 ¶Thus saith the L-RD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the L-RD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 ¶Hear the word of the L-RD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the L-RD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
G-ds Glory among the Gentiles
Isaiah 66:18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the L-RD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the L-RD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the L-RD.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the L-RD.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the L-RD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the L-RD.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
