We find the L-rd in this concerned for the bird with the egg or her young to the poor, widow, of the land. In this section we find the curse of the tree and the criminal beaten with forty stripes. So our L-rd became a curse for us as he hung upon the tree. By his stripes we were healed, even though, he was beaten for being a criminal who sinned. We end up in Isaiah and find the promises of God for restoration and deliverance.
