INTRODUCTION:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Prophecy and Jesus! These are prophetic times, Jesus is prophecy, for he fulfilled it! These times are prophetic, spoken to us by Jesus of the times in which he lived, he said ‘it was a snare upon the whole world’.

Yet, to live by prophecy, in prophecy, many times we miss the mark! The mark of prophecy is not just events and troubled times, but the mark is Jesus Christ!

It is Jesus that must be brought into the context and what ‘life’ we have and how it should be lived in these prophetic times!

Revelation 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

When searching the words ‘testimony’ and Jesus’ together, we find them used four times in the book of Revelation alone! This tells us the emphasis is on ‘Jesus Christ and the testimony of Jesus Christ’.

When reading a paragraph you always look at the beginning sentence and the concluding sentence that will tell you or give you a glimpse to the rest. Same with a book, the first chapter brings you into the main theme and the end chapter sums it up and brings it to a close.

So too, with Revelation:

Revelation 1:2  Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Revelation 1:9  ¶I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Now we are living in the times when the major portions of Revelation will be completely fulfilled and the age of the coming of the ‘Alpha and Omega’ is almost upon us!

But as for us, what is life!

Eternity: hebrew, olam; greek equivalent anon;

Eternity here is Timeless existence-being or entity without change not mere everlastingness or permanence through time. God in His internal being is raised above time! ISBN, p1011, Eternity.

God is Eternal, the world is not, along with man, the creation of God, the universe, and all it entails. Time, the world, along with man, track a course in a continuum until God brings time as we know it to an end. Yet, then we will enter a new time where, we will live, but the factors of time as we know will not affect us.

Life: in the Torah, ‘life’ is used as life in the body, the existence, and activity of the man in all his parts and entergies. It is the person complete, conscious, and active. There was no idea of the body beging a fetter or a prison to the soul; the body was essential to life and the writers had no desire to be separated from it. ISBN, p1888, Life.

Life in the N.T., life is seen as ‘zoe’, mediated through Jesus Christ. We see the Torah linked here as that life, being in the body, the existence, and the activity of man ect’ that we discussed before, but here Jesus brings in a new dimension to ‘life’ as we know it today! We do see the link of the spirit with heaven, the eternal being realized a never before through Christ who related this ‘life’ to belief in him, the sole mediator in whom we are to have faith in, and follow him in obedience.

We see this ‘supernatural’ spiritual life, being developed in man, as those who have faith in this mediator then walk in his word, here ISBN ,

“The entering into life and entering into the kingdom are practically the same, for the kingdom is that spiritual realm where God controls, where the principles, activities, and relationships of heaven prevail and to enter into these is to enter into life.

Also ‘life’, the lower life, body, that physical is seen here as well, where that is not all ‘life’ is about, it is subject to the spiritual life lead and to put the earthly life and interests over the spiritual would mean losing out of the other entirely.

Genesis 1:30  And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31  ¶And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

‘God Creates man and gives him life’

Genesis 2:6  But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8  ¶And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Man’s life in the Garden, Gen 2:9-25

-Man was put in the garden the LORD God had planted eastward in Eden
-A river went out of Eden to water this Garden and then parted into four heads
-pison; gihon; hiddekel, euphrates
-Man was put in the garden to dress it and keep it
-God gave man a woman so he would not be alone
-Adam was warned of God not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil
-Adam called all living creatures and gave them names
-God created Woman out of Adam’s rib
-Here we see Adam falling into a deep sleep so God could do this
-The man and woman were naked and not ashamed in the garden

Genesis 2:9  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10  And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11  The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12  And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13  And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14  And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
15  And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16  ¶And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18  ¶And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19  And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

-After Adam and Eve ate of the fruit
-They both realized they were naked
-This is the first time they were fearful of the presence of God, they were naked in his presence
-Adam and Eve had coats of skin made by the LORD God for them
-They were driven out of the place
-Adam knew his wife Eve and she bare Cain

Of this Apostle Paul says: ‘here we see pointedly that sin entered into the world and thus death by this sin, and this death passed to all men, for all have sinned’

It is, that is, this sin, which is called Adam’s transgression, it is not called ‘Eve’s! The offense attributed to Adam, not Eve! God personally warned Adam in Gen 2:16 not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil!

Romans 5:10  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11  And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13  (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14  Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15  But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16  And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17  For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19  For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21  That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

What is Your Life?

Have you thought about this? Is it your car? Your house? Your kids? Your family? Your job? The food you eat, clothes you wear, or the hobbies you keep?

What is your life? For many, in America and the western world, ‘life’ is what we possess, what we eat, and what we wear! It makes up our culture: ‘the customs, institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or group.’

We have already discussed that in the Torah, in the life of the Hebrews, life was the body they were in, what they ate, did, worked at, their family, their activity and all it entailed. They lived in the body and did not want to be separated from it. The thinking of the ‘eternal life’ was not as it is today. The Messiah had not come, there was no fuller teaching on this ‘eternal life’ or ‘life’ itself in relation to eternity.

The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ

John 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15  ¶John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Even in Jesus Time, ‘life’ was seen as man has always seen life! Jesus brought the grace for salvation of man and the truth of God to us. The truth is, ‘life’ was described by Jesus as being More than:

“Life is more than food”!
“The Body more than clothing”!
Luke 12:22  ¶And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23  The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

Life is more than the cookies you eat, the pizza you like, the steak you bbq!
Life is more than the diet you have to go on!
Life is more than the exercise you need to do!
The body is more than clothing!
The body is more than its aches, pains, growing old!
The body is the temple!

The Body, though, is more than all that, it is a seed, which is sown in corruption, but through Christ, it is raised in incorruption!

But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body

Corinthians 15:35  ¶But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36  Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37  And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38  But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body

1 Corinthians 15:42  So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43  It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

We will be judged for the things done in this body!

2 Corinthians 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad

Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost

1 Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own

Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord

1 Corinthians 6:13  Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

Your body is dead to sin, don’t let it reign in your body, obeying the lusts thereof!

Romans 6:11  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12  Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Through the Spirit if you do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live

Romans 8:13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live

Those who are Christs have the Spirit of God dwell in him, thus you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit!

Romans 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Now even though we discuss this, many believers today would agree with all that the scripture says above on the ‘body’, but there is still the question of ‘what is life’?

Jesus Christ on Your Life

You will have to answer this for yourself, scripture will let you know the things God expects and has for you, but you still must reconcile what scripture says with your current beliefs and your life right now!

Your life, what you do, how you live, what you face will be a large part of who and what you are!

It is how you live while doing all these things, even in what you face! You as with believers all over the world and since the time of Jesus Christ have had to make the same decisions!

-the Christians thrown to the lions
-the Christians in other nations facing persecution
-the Christians who are rich and have plenty
-the Christians who are starving, poor, and living in 3 rd world nations
-the poor, widows, all those without, how do you look at these
-the Christians living in America and around the world who are in the end times?

The Lord was asked a question while he was speaking to his followers about confessing ‘him before men’ and ‘those who would kill the body’, in short, he was preparing them for the time when they faced persecution in this body and in this life.

Then out of the blue a man pops up with a plea for the Lord to speak to the mans brother that he would divide the inheritance with him. Surely a out of context plea when such important teaching by the LORD.

Luke 12:13  ¶And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.

The Lord Nevertheless went on to tell the parable of the ‘Rich Man [ fool]’ in Luke 12:16 and the Ravens, then lilies later on; the truth of being that:

A man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Luke 12:15  And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Luke 12:
The Fowls of the air, the birds: The lesson: God provides for them!
1. Neither reap
2. Nor do they sow
3. Nor do they have barns to keep what they have reaped
4. Nor do they have storehouses to stow food

The Lilies: The lesson: God provides for them!
1. They do not toil
2. They do not spin
3. Yet they grow
4. They are arrayed in beauty
5. God see’s to it!

They do not worry, they grow, man worries but changes nothing! Don’t worry, have faith in God!

The Rich man: Lesson: does not lay up treasure towards God
1. Possess things in abundance
2. Sows
3. Reaps
4. Worries
5. Obtains success
6. Stows away
7 Builds greater things to hold his goods
8. Plans for retirement and ease with luxury
9. Does not make himself rich towards God!
10.Obtains treasure and does not consider eternity nor God!

Luke 12:20  But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21  So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Many in America and around the world tonight are as this ‘fool’, their soul shall be required of them and all that this ‘life’ is to them will be gone! They have not laid up treasure towards God!

Again, let me ask you, What is life? Really?

Jesus also gave out important and pertinate truths to consider, just as those who heard them for the first time!

1. Nothing will be hidden, all will be revealed, no secrets! God knows! And it will come out!

Luke 12:1  ¶In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2  For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
3  Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

2. Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, speaking to ‘my friends’ Jesus warned them who to fear, Fear God!
Luke 12:4  And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

3. You are of more value than the Sparrows, birds, ect!
Luke 12:6  Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7  But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

4. Your Father knows what you need, it is his pleasure to give you the kingdom!
Luke 12:29  And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30  For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32  Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

5. The Servants that do so, what the LORD has told them to do!

-Fear God
-Seek kingdom of God
-Your of more value, God loves you
-Don’t doubt
-Don’t seek what you need, seek God
-Lay up treasure in heaven
-Let your lights for God burn
-Wait and watch for your Lords return
-Be sure your working for him until he comes
-You will not know what hour he will come
-Be ye ready for the Son of man Comes!

Luke 12:33  Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
34  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
35  Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
36  And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
37  Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
38  And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
39  And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
40  Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

The Warnings associated with these teachings:

The religious of Jesus day could not discern the times, nor see him for who he was! So too, today many do not discern the time in which we live!
Luke 12:54  ¶And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
55  And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
56  Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

Make peace with your adversary! There is one whom you must make peace with, God, through Jesus Christ our LORD!

Luke 12:57  Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
58  When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
59  I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

Your iniquities have separated between you and your God

Isaiah 59:2  But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men

2 Corinthians 5:11  Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Jesus Christ ‘I am the Life’

Context: John1

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:1  ¶In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2  The same was in the beginning with God.
3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God

12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Word made flesh, dwelt among us, law given by Moses, grace and truth came by Jesus Christ!

14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15  ¶John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already
John 3:15  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

He that believeth will have everlasting life, he that does not shall see the wrath of God and not taste of this life everlasting!

John 3:36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Speaking to the religious of his Day, those who searched the scripture thinking in them was eternal life, it was, but they had not Gods love nor his word abiding in them. They did all this but did not come to Jesus to have eternal life. Yet they would receive another in their own name, but not the WORD in the flesh, God!

John 5:37  And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38  And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
40  And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
41  I receive not honour from men.
42  But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
43  I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Labor for the meat which will not perish!This meat only the Son of man can give you, for the Father has only sealed him, the Son of Man. This is the Work to believe on him whom the Father has sent!!

John 6:27
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

John 6:28
¶Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

John 6:29
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

-The Bread I give is my flesh v51

-Except you eat the flesh and drink the blood [communion] you have no life v53
-This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. It is not eaten as ‘your fathers did eat manna and are dead’.

Jesus Christ taught that ‘My Words are Spirit and they are life’

John 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Jesus Christ later taught the bread was his body, take eat, the cup was the ‘blood of the new testament’ for the remission of sins. He was as John said, the “lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the World, the passover lamb”.

Matthew 26:26  ¶And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28  For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

John 6:42
And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

John 6:43
Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:45
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

John 6:46
Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

I am that bread of life.

Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

John 6:56
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

John 6:57
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

John 6:58
This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
