The Grapes of Wrath!
God has a Word, ‘vengeance is mine saith the LORD, I will repay’. He has another Word, ‘Commanding all men, everywhere to Repent.’
We will look first at where and what the Day of Wrath is! This Day or time of God’s wrath is not the Great White Throne Judgment where the books will be opened and the dead will be judged! What we are discussing today is the ‘Grapes of Wrath’, the Vials of Gods Wrath poured out on the World!
The Vial or bowl judgments in Revelation chapter 16 depict and reveal the culmination of the Wrath of God upon those in the earth who have followed the beast, his false prophet, and the dragon. These people on earth refused to repent and now face the impact of the fulness of God’s wrath upon them. Then they will spend eternity in the ‘lake of fire’.
Warning to the Saints during the 6th Vial or bowl!
It is particularly noteworthy here that in the same section as the sixth vial which is the drying up of Euphrates to allow the gathering of the world, behind the beast, the false prophet, and the dragon at Megiddo, Armmageddon that it mentions a word from the LORD addressed pointedly to the Saints of God!
Why? It is a reminder to those who follow him to watch, keep your garments, lest you appear naked and your shame appears!
