Wrath is reserved for the LORD GOD’S Enemies!
Nahum 1:2 ¶God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
Everlasting Life and will not experience the wrath of God on Him! This doesn’t mean you won’t suffer trouble, tribulation, trials, ect here or even the ’smelter of God’. The wrath of God, meaning death and separation will not be yours.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
E-1. Trust in the LORD not man!
All the plans of man will not stop the Word of God from coming true! All the plans of man will not stop the LORD God from bringing in his kingdom!
Babylon of old fell, and Mystery Babylon will also fall! There will be a time when the LORD God will gather the nations, he will judge all things!
Jeremiah 17:5 ¶Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
Isaiah 21:9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
Jeremiah 51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Revelation 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
E-2. Eat, drink, for tomorrow we die!
In the movie Titanic as the ship was sinking and it was obvious to all that there were not enough lifeboats and the ship could not recover, there was a scene where the band played and the people drank a last shot of alcohol and waited for the end. Thus the ship that said “even God could not sink her” did ship and many perished. This is a profane statement and those on board were ignorant of the curse that lay onboard this ship.
There is and has been an attitude of eat, drink, for tomorrow we die since the time of man began. Enjoy and satisfy the flesh, that is what matters many think! Instead of seeking God who can save, they ignore him and in pride and rebellion do as they please.
Paul and Ephesus:
1 Corinthians 15:32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Jesus and the servant with this attitude!
Luke 12:45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
